RADIO SEASON 2026–27

The new radio season is starting

European School Radio, The First Student Radio, is opening the new 2026–27 radio season and invites schools, teachers and students to actively take part in its online programme with their own radio shows and podcasts.

It is the online radio platform and application https://europeanschoolradio.eu, a station that hosts exclusively student-created content in a 24/7 stream and has been operating continuously for 15 years, building a rich audio archive of 13,000 original productions. Each school team can choose the topic that interests them, the type of programme they want to create and their own way of expressing themselves. The programme is open to all schools at any time during the school year. Discover how you can take part by reading the detailed Participation Guide:

FIND YOUR OWN SOUND

Tell your story

What does radio mean to your students?
What place do podcasts have in their everyday lives? What does music mean to them? And, more broadly, what can sound communicate?

The beginning of the school year is the best time to give them the space to discover their own answers.

Talk with them about their interests. Ask them what they would like to explore and how they imagine themselves as creators of audio content.

🎧 What stories would they like to tell?
🎙️ What interviews would they like to conduct, and with whom?
🎶 How would they bring a story to life with music and sound?
💬 If they could start a conversation about a topic they truly care about, what would it be?
📻 And why would that voice be worth sharing with other listeners?

Through the Youth Radio methodology, young users have the opportunity to experience, from within the lab, a variety of creative and professional worlds:

Journalism, Communication, Radio, Podcasting, DJing, Audio Recording, Audio Engineering, Music, Sound Design

Through collaboration, research, creation and self-expression, every child can find their own role.

Give them the opportunity to discover their own talent.

Take an active part in the new radio season and let us shape together a rich, creative and diverse radio programme made by young people for young people!
